2012 Shipping Rate Increase
Another year, another massive rate increase by our friends in the brown trucks.
While they disguise their increase with minimal changes at the high end of the
weight scale, where it counts rates have increased about 8%. And there is no end
in sight to such annual increases an such an essential element of an internet
business.
Thus, we have increased our own standard, boxed shipping rate by +$0.50 -- a
smaller 3.6% increase.
In addition, we have added a new box size category called "Giant
Box" (or "GB"). Such games will be surcharged $5.00 each
reflecting their massive size & weight. (As one example, we narrowly avoided
a $56 shipping bill on an order consisting of just one game, the Star Trek Fleet
Captain game, but finding the necessarily large box but cutting one inch off its

We are
pleased to offer a new Zombie
speciality catalog that reflects a surprising large group of games with a
focus on Zombies (ala George Romero's Night of the Living Day movie and many
sequels). Most of these games are quite fun, can be quickly taught to others,
and even significant others can get into a night of brawling with masses of the
undead. Granted, it helps to have a fondness for this genre of movies (of which
I recommend the original plus the 2004 Dawn of the Dead).
Decision
Games folio-series games, currently numbering 18 games some of which are updates
of popular SPI quad-series games and others being new designs, have proved
popular. All make for an easy evening's entertainment and a gentle learning curve and are also good games for beginners.
