UPS Announces 2012 Rate Increases of 5.9%

UPS has announced that its ground shipping rates will increase "on average" 5.9%. Ouch.

For us, that means that the average shipment cost of $13.19 increases to $13.99. For you, it likely means a $0.50 increase in base shipping prices and an adjustment to those nasty "heavy" packages.

UPS has consistently increased its rates at a year to year rate of at least twice the rate of overall inflation for the last 10 years. Add the many fees added to the base rates and it has increase rather rapidly. The Age of Cheap Gas is long gone...

Fine Games Annual Clearance Sale begins with Round 1: Magazine-Games

Its our biggest set of sales of the year. Its where we find stuff that needs a good home, drop the price - alot - and offer it up to the first taker.

This year, our first offering or Round is focused on most of the magazines & magazine-games. These are the S&Ts, Commands, Wargamers, Against the Odds, Vae Victis -- those with games in each issue, plus the magazine-onlys that help us become competent gamers or provide historical background for the games. The latter include the late AH General, Paper Wars, C3i and more.

We've selected 400 some items to offer, put an ADDITIONAL discount of 10-30% on them, that is in addition to our already discounted, everyday price, and let 'em go.

PLUS, if you buy 10 or more items from our Round 1 Clearance Catalog, you get another 5% off of EVERYTHING in your order (including clearance items and non-clearance items, but excluding personal game sale items).

Whew!
