WARGAMES WEST DISTRIBUTORS CLOSES. Another one bites the dust. Hot on the heals of Zocchi Distributors, Wargames West announced in a curt letter that it was closing its doors immediately after Christmas. We interpret this a continuing implosion of the gaming business, and just makes the writing on the wall that much clearer. RIP. 5. ANOTHER REMINDER: OUR SHIPPING RATES WILL INCREASE as of the first of the year by $1 per order domestically. International shipments will increase also once USPS announces their new rate schedules. This increase in response to continuing increases by UPS & USPS, but also by the more rapid increases indirect expenses such as gas, electricity, and the fees assessed by UPS. 6.
